Abstract: [eng] SOME CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT THE LINK BETWEEN REGULATION AND INDUSTRIAL STRUCTURES: THE CASE OF BIODEGRADABLE MATERIALS . This paper is part of a research programme. The aim of this program is to identify the structural and strategic determinants which are likely to influence the industrialisation of an innovation (starch based biopolymers used in packaging) in two countries, France and Germany. In this paper, we focus on one determinant, the regulation. More precisely, the aim of this paper is to present some theoretical considerations about the link between regulation and industrial structure. We intend to put forward that it is very difficult to analyse the impact of regulation on industrial structures because regulation is building by strategies of actors in the same time than industrial structures. [fre] Cet article s'inscrit dans le cadre d'un programme de recherche finalisée dont l'objectif est d'identifier les déterminants structurels et stratégiques susceptibles d'influer sur les modalités d'industrialisation d'une innovation (les nouveaux matériaux d'emballage biodégradables issus de biopolymères à base d'amidon de blé) dans deux pays, la France et l'Allemagne. Dans cet article, nous mettons l'accent sur un déterminant, la réglementation. Plus précisément, l'objectif de ce papier est de présenter quelques considérations théoriques relatives à l'interaction entre réglementation et structure industrielle. Le but est de montrer qu'il est très difficile d'analyser l'impact de la réglementation sur les structures industrielles parce que la réglementation se construit en même temps que les structures industrielles par le biais des stratégies d'acteurs.
