Entre sciences sociales et sens commun: La «ruralité» dans les Maisons familiales rurales

Abstract: [eng] Between social sciences and common sense. «rurality» in the opinion of the «maisons familiales rurales» - The concept of "rurality" is divided between common sense ans social science. It is the expression of the existence of a true intellectual coproduction between the two forms of knowledge. The first one, that is to be linked with the "Maisons familiales rurales", is to take on its relation to the (changing rural) world and to itself; a bric-a-brac made up of, among other things, the discourse of social science, is then used. The second one objectivizes a knowledge in which its own analyses are constantly taken over again and become full part of ways of understanding that members of that institution use: therefore it contributes to partly produce the object it analyses. [fre] Le concept de "ruralité" se partage entre le sens commun et les sciences sociales. Il traduit l'existence d'une véritable coproduction intellectuelle entre les deux formes de connaissance. La première, rattachée ici aux "Maisons familiales rurales", est à même d'élaborer une théorie structurée et rationnelle de la "ruralité" permettant à l'institution scolaire d'assumer son rapport au monde (rural en mutation) et à elle-même; elle utilise pour cela un répertoire hétéroclite constitué, entre autres, du discours des sciences sociales. La seconde objective un savoir dans lequel ses propres analyses sont en permanence recyclées et deviennent partie intégrante des ressources interprétatives des acteurs institutionnels; elle contribue donc à produire en partie l'objet qu'elle analyse.
