Abstract:
[eng] This paper is a study of the relationship between Plan and market in Yougoslavia. As compared to those of other Eastern European countries, the yougoslavian Plan is neither centralized nor detailed, but restricts itself to define the main objectives. It is so designed as to leave room for the actual existence of a market. The behavior of the economie units is therefore geared according to market data. It must however be conform to the Plan's objectives. This is why the Plan uses a variety of actions, such as public finances, foreign trade control, price control ; but the use of these instruments is intented to direct the market, not to smother it.
