Abstract: [fre] L'ampleur des besoins de financement extérieur des PVD dans les quinze dernières années, la progression insuffisamment rapide des aides bi ou multilatérales, l'émergence de banques multinationales dominant les marchés internationaux de capitaux, notamment pour les euro-crédits syndiqués, expliquent l'importance croissante, que l'on constate, du financement privé du développement.. Cette évolution soulève deux questions d'ordre différent : comment le système financier international, actuellement dépourvu d'un organisme central assurant la double mission de contrôle et de refinancement, a-t-il résolu le problème de la gestion des risques ? Les modalités actuelles de ce financement privé sont-elles adaptées aux besoins des PVD ? [eng] Financing the ldc's : the growing role of private institution. . Private financing of the LDC's has been of growing importance in the recent years. This evolution can be explained by the magnitude of the needs of external financing of these countries, by the insufficient growth of bi and multilateral aid, and by the dominant role of the multinational banks of the international financial markets.. This situation raises two questions : how the international financial system deprived of a « Central Bank » commissionned to control and refinance has assumed the management of risks ? Are the prevailing methods of private financing congenial to the requirements of the LDC's ?
