Abstract: [eng] Equity investments in developing countries. . Equity investment — either to develop local ressources to supply foreign markets or to implement foreign technology to feed domestic markets — is once more favorably loocked upon. This type of investment is a cheap and necessary complement to aid policies towards LDC's.. The advantages and risks involved for national economics explain why recipient countries as well as donor countries are bound to encourage it and protect it but also to control it. For private investors, equity investment in LDC's in often a necessity but one which raises serions security and financing problems. Nevertheless, all things considered, well placed equity investment seems to be an indispensable element to help the diffusion of technology and the international division of labor. Pourtant, bien orienté, l'investissement direct apparaît comme un élément essentiel de la diffusion des technologies et de la division internationale du travail.
