Formes et degrés d'insertion régionale des groupes: une comparaison entre groupes français et groupes étrangers

Abstract: [eng] Regional insertion of groups : a comparaison between french and foreign groups. Olivier Gouedard-Comte. This paper contains a comparaison of regional insertion of french and foreign groups. In the first part, one analyze their respective degrees of integration assesed by the location of main suppliers for goods (equipment goods, raw-materials and subcontracting), and business services (management, advertising, engeneering,..) ; moreover, one show the characteristics of organisational structures in which their establishments are included and their degrees of fiinctional specialization. Then, one research by using synthetic indicators their degrees of integration and managerial dependance on head-offices located outside the region. In addition, we study relationships between integration and managerial dependance : are the less dependant establishments the most integrated into the region ? After building up an indicator of regional insertion (based on both integration and dependance), one connect the degree of regional insertion of establishments with their degree of internationalisation and their position in different markets (progressive or regressive). To obtain data, we did a survey ourselves : 266 establishments located in the Rhône-Alpes region were interviewed. [fre] Cet article compare l'insertion des groupes français et étrangers dans la région. Dans la première partie, on analyse leurs degrés respectifs d'intégration par les biens (biens d'équipement, marchandises, sous-traitance) et les prestations de services (conseil, publicité, ingénierie...) ; de plus, on met en évidence les caractéristiques des structures organisationnelles dans lesquelles leurs établissements sont rattachés et leurs degrés de spécialisation fonctionnelle. Dans la deuxième partie, on recherche leurs degrés d'intégration globale et leurs degrés de dépendance globale, ainsi que leurs relations. Les établissements les plus intégrés à la région sont-ils les moins dépendants de l'extérieur de la région ? Après avoir construit un indicateur d'insertion régionale (basé sur l'intégration et la dépendance), on met en rapport le degré d'insertion régionale des établissements avec leurs degrés d'internationalisation et leur présence sur différents types de marchés (favorables ou non). L'ensemble des données utilisées dans cet article ont été obtenues par une enquête auprès de 266 établissements localisés dans la région Rhône-Alpes.
