The aim of this article if, to question Marx's project of integrating the wage-relationship into general equilibrium. In a first part, I examine the theoretical status of the notion of labour power and argue that it should be considered as a particular natural ressource rather than a particular commodity, as it is usually assumed in the Marxian tradition. The second part of the article is devoted to the study of the impact of this definitional change. The question to be answered is the following : under which conditions is one allowed to conceive of an equilibrium wage ? It is argued that these conditions are definetely not satisfied in the fordist stage of development of the wage relationship. [fre] L'objectif de cet article est de remettre en cause le projet de Marx d'intégrer le salaire dans la logique d'équivalence. Dans une première partie, nous nous interrogeons sur le statut théorique de la force de travail. Nous récusons la classification marxiste traditionnelle selon laquelle la force de travail serait une marchandise particulière et affirmons qu'elle doit plutôt être vue comme une ressource naturelle particulière. Dans une seconde partie, nous étudions l'impact de ce glissement définitionnel et tâchons de répondre à la question : à quelles conditions est-il possible de parler d'un salaire d'équilibre ? Nous défendons la thèse que l'image du salaire découlant des exigences de cohérence logique n'est pas pertinente pour saisir le salaire tel qu'il se présente dans le stade fordiste contemporain.
