[eng] Unequal exchange, gain from trade and international distributive justice. . Emmanuel's theory of " Unequal Exchange" still appears as a radical, critique of the classical and neo-classical theory of the gain from international trade. A simple neo-ricardian framework helps us to show that this is a theoretically unsound interpretation. The theory remains interesting as a normative proposition, concerning the distribution of world income.
