Abstract: [eng] Expected public spending and the current account: a test for the seven main OECD countries. . By means of single regressions concerning the seven main OECD countries over the floating dollar perioci, this work aims at evaluating the influence of anticipated and unanticipated public expenditures on national and foreign current accounts. The predictor of public spending is obtained by assuming that agents know the reaction function of fiscal policy. The Tests implernented here show that future public spending thus anticipated has a contrasted impact on present national current accounts acording to the size af the economy. Par une estimation portant sur les sept principaux pays de l'OCDE, pour la période de flottement des monnaies vis-à-vis du dollar, ce travail cherche à évaluer l'influence des dépenses publiques anticipées et imprévues sur les balances courantes nationale et étrangères.. Le prédicteur des dépenses publiques est construit en supposant que les agents se fondent sur l'existence d'une fonction de réaction de la politique budgétaire. Les tests effectués indiquent que les dépenses publiques futures ainsi prévues exercent une influence contrastée sur le solde des paiements courants dans te présent selon la taille de l'économie considérée.
