Abstract: [fre] Nouvelle approche statistique des liens entre mobilité du travail et mobilité géographique. . Nous présentons ici une approche biographique en vue d'étudier les interactions entre mobilité du travail et mobilité géographique, puis de faire intervenir l'hétérogénéité des populations observées. Le modèle proposé est alors appliqué à des données d'une enquête française sur la biographie familiale, professionnelle et migratoire. Nous avons pu montrer clairement les interactions entre les migrations vers les métropoles et la mobilité professionnelle ainsi que les effets de différentes caractéristiques individuelles sur les quotients observés. [eng] A new statistical approach to the relationship between job mobility and geographical mobility. . We present here an event history approach to study the interactions between job mobility and geographical mobility and also to deal with the heterogeneity of observed populations. The proposed model is then applied to data from a French survey on family, work and migration history. We were able here to show clearly the interactions between moves to metropolitan areas and job mobility as well as the effect of various individual characteristics on the observed rates.
