Abstract: [eng] A note on the theoretical meaning of the supply-driven input-output model. . This paper is mainly devoted to a careful examination of the theoretical significance and the empirical applications of the so called mirror model. This model beats on forward looking causal relation, which take into account the economie rationale of the production process, from primary inputs to final goods. The first part of the paper presents the Supply-Driven Model and its numerous applications. The second part sheds light on the theoretical limits of this formalism. The last part of the paper is devoted to a presentation of three new formulations of the mirror model. They ask the question of the relevance of this approach, but pave the way for future empirical researches in comparative statics. Ce texte s'interroge sur la validité théorique et les possibilités d'utilisation du Modèle d'Offre Multisectoriel, parfois également appelé « modèle miroir » du tableau de Leontief. Ce modèle, qui repose sur des impulsions se déplaçant dans le sens du processus de transformation et respecte la causalité d'une production qui prend du temps des ressources primaires aux produits finals, fait l'objet d'un nombre croissant d'utilisations, souvent de nature appliquée. La première partie de l'article présente le modèle et ses différentes utilisations, alors que la deuxième montre les limites théoriques de cette modélisation. La dernière partie est consacrée à la présentation de trois reformulations, qui posent la question de la pertinence de ce modèle, tout en ménageant la possibilité d'utilisations empiriques relevant du domaine de la statique comparative.
