Sur l'hypothèse de rationalité en théorie macro-économique

Abstract: [fre] Il ne s'agit plus aujourd'hui de justifier l'hypothèse mais d'examiner comment elle est employée et doit être éventuellement amendée. La rationalité, toujours accompagnée de suppositions secondaires, s'avère inexacte. Face à ce constat, les macro-économistes dans leur majorité sont prêts en principe à modifier leurs hypothèses s'ils voient comment le faire de façon utile et réaliste. Une telle atti­tude est scientifiquement correcte. Jusqu'à présent, elle ne conduit pas à recom­mander un changement de paradigme mais à trouver des solutions pragmatiques aux inexactitudes. Pour ces solutions, comme pour le traitement essentiel de l'agrégation, les enseignements de l'observation doivent être pris en compte dès la première élaboration du modèle.
