Abstract: [eng] Competition between jurisdictions occurs when there exists a mobile tax base in the economy (most of the time a fixed amount of capital) and has recently been a matter of interest in economic theory. Two different approaches can be distin­guished in this literature, depending on the nature of the capital present in the eco­nomy (it can be perfectly divisible or not). Here, we present the major results in this literature and suggest new orientations for researches in the future. [fre] La compétition entre collectivités locales est légitimée par l'existence d'une base fiscale mobile dans l'économie (prenant généralement la forme d'un stock de capital) et constitue une préoccupation récente dans la théorie économique. Deux approches peuvent être distinguées dans cette littérature, selon la nature du capi­tal présent dans l'économie (un continuum de petits investisseurs ou une firme de grande taille). Nous présentons ici les principaux résultats de ces travaux, et sug­gérons de nouvelles orientations pour les recherches futures.
