Abstract: [fre] Marché du crédit à l'éducation Un rôle pour l'État ?. . L'objet de cet article consiste à mettre en évidence certains aspects incitatifs de la politique économique lorsque les étudiants sont contraints d'emprunter pour réaliser un projet d'études risqué et inobservable. Il développe un modèle de marché du crédit à l'éducation avec aléa moral dans lequel l'État peut améliorer l'efficience de l'équilibre en augmentant indirectement l'intensité de l'effort exercé par les étudiants pour réussir leur projet par la mise en place d'un système de subvention du prix du capital humain. [eng] Credit market of education : a potential scope for government intervention ?. . This paper aims to emphasize how government intervention can be welfare improving when students are constrained to borrow in order to achieve a project of education for which the associated risk cannot be observed. A credit market of education with moral hazard is developed which permits to show how government can indirectly affect student effort by imposing a subsidy on human capital price.
