[eng] Recent developments in political economy of growth: a short survey. . In this paper, we survey the recent literature in Political Economy of Growth and Inequalities. We develop a simple framework to illustrate the "classical" elements of a model of Political Economy of Growth and to discuss the key issues of that literature. The paper then concentrates on the problem of endogenous transition of political systems in the growth process and discusses briefly some avenues for future research.
