Abstract: [fre] Cet article étudie les conséquences d'une politique publique de label dans un contexte de commerce international. Un modèle très simple permet de mettre en évidence certaines distorsions inhérentes à cette politique. Une situation de libéralisation des échanges peut conduire à une modification de la politique de label, où le vendeur étranger supporte le coût du label. [eng] Public labelling and trade. . This article investigates the effects of a public labelling system in a context of international trade. A simple framework allows to present some distortions linked to such a policy. A trade liberalisation situation may lead to a change in the label policy, where the foreign seller incurs the label cost.
