Les femmes dans la pensée économique

Abstract: [eng] The evocation of women who dominated the economic thought is often limited to the names of Joan Robinson, and eventually Rosa Luxemburg. Other women have however contributed to various extents to the economic thought since the beginning of the XIXth century. The early ones have especially popularized the ideas of the great classical economists. Others collaborated with an economist in inspiring his thought or in making them known, sometimes associating their names with a common work. The late ones are fully fledged economists who worked alone. The attitudes of female economists show a real similarity and their intellectual act is often similar, although they develop various ideas. [fre] L'évocation des femmes ayant marqué l'histoire de la Pensée économique se limite bien souvent aux noms de Joan Robinson et, éventuellement, Rosa Luxemburg. Pourtant, d'autres femmes ont, à des degrés divers, apporté leur contribution à la pensée économique depuis le début du XIXe siècle. Les premières ont été essentiellement des vulgarisatrices des idées des grands économistes classiques. D'autres ont collaboré avec un économiste, inspirant sa pensée, faisant connaître son œuvre ou même associant leur nom à une œuvre commune. D'autres enfin sont des économistes à part entière, ayant fait œuvre personnelle. Les comportements des femmes économistes présentent une réelle similitude et leur démarche intellectuelle une certaine parenté, malgré la diversité de leurs idées.
