Abstract:
[eng] This paper discusses the comparative advantages of the state and the market in providing health insurance. It then reviews actual systems of health insurance such as experienced in a number of O.E.C.D. countries. In these systems, one finds a combination of state control and market allocation. It then concludes on the necessity of insuring by all means universal accessibility.
