Faut-il interdire la revente à perte ?

Claire Chambolle ()

Revue Française d'Économie, 2003, vol. 17, issue 3, 89-108

[eng] This paper aims at capturing the ambiguous impact of the ban on loss leading that prevails in France since 1 963. We use the theory of indu strial organisation to understand the logic of loss leading practices. We then discuss loss leader banning, pointing out its impact on the competition between retailers, on the relationships between producers and retailers and on the consumers' surplus.
