Abstract: [fre] L'Europe des associations est encore aujourd'hui fortement marquée par les spécificités nationales. S'oppose ainsi une région Nord très dynamique à une région Sud qui a connu un démarrage de ses créations d'associations plus tardif. Néanmoins, à y regarder de plus près, le moteur de l'associationnisme semble partout le même : ce sont toujours des individus engagés dans plusieurs associations et au profil caractéristique des associations choisies. [eng] The participation in voluntary associations in Europe. Maxime Parodi. In Europe, the dynamism of voluntary associations depends largely on national specificities. We can oppose the North, quite active, to the South which has a slow development in its creations of associations. Nevertheless, the dynamic of these civic societies always relies on the same people : the activists are engaged in many associations, which form a sort of network, and each type of association has its own model of activist..
