Abstract:
The COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented changes to the global economy, forcing central banks to adopt expansionary monetary policies to counter recession. However, these measures, together with disruptions in supply chains and rising demand, contributed to the acceleration of post-pandemic inflation. This article analyzes the effect of monetary policies on global inflation, comparing responses in developed and emerging economies, and proposes recommendations for sustainable inflation management.
