Abstract: This paper analyzes an example-based color transfer algorithm. The process of recoloring an input image by making use of another image has many applications in computer vision. This is the case of digital restoration technique that tries to reapply color to paintings that have been deprecated by dust, smoke, passing of time. Throughout history, there have been many ideas proposed regarding color transfer computation.
