Abstract:
This paper explores ways of creating an image segmentation system based on voting. Using segmentation techniques ranging from Artificial Intelligence algorithms such as Mask-RCNN to classical approaches like Mean Shift Clustering and other custom-designed segmentation techniques, the purpose of this paper is to create a mixed algorithm for image segmentation and object detection. The proposed method accomplishes the task by generating good results that compare favorably to four other related stand-alone image segmentation methods.
