Abstract: The level of development of a community is closely related to the level of development of the existing education system in that region. In this article we performed an analysis of the education system in Romania from economic and social points of view. We chose indicators that show movement, birth rate, integration into a form of education and population gains, but also the degree of use of modern computing techniques in the education process. The classification of the counties was performed with the help of a neural network trained in the SAS and several scenarios were developed with immediate applicability
