Abstract:
TThe Covid-19 pandemic has brought changes to the whole of society, to all aspects of daily life, and the economy has also been affected. In this article we aim to show the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic had on companies that have as their object of activity the road transport of goods in Suceava county, Romania. After identifying the indicators, applying the principal component analysis technique we extracted those indicators that bring maximum information. Further, using the clustering technique and SAS Enterprise Guide software, we divided the companies into three distinct, homogeneous classes. In the last part of the paper we analyzed the effect of the pandemic on the transport sector in Suceava county.
