Abstract: It is now universally accepted that climate change is happening and that is caused by man’s behaviour. Global warming is accelerating and the average temperature is likely to rise up to 4 degrees by the end of this century if nothing is done. The European Union has risen the occasion by putting in place the world’s most famous ambitions global strategy for combating climate change.
