Abstract:
Tourism comprises activities that in interdependence with other industries,leading to economic growth with positive impact on the regional development of Romania. The studies of the evolution of tourist accommodation structures highlight their tendency during 2000-2014 and structural changes which they register at the regional level, but also on the types of units. The findings are based on the results obtained as a consequence of the changes made from one period to another or from one region to another or on the types of units, aimed to formulate and implementing regional development strategies leading to the elimination of regional disparities.
