Abstract:
Mountain regions are valuable in respect of tourism, and have always enjoyed great interest. The creation of an artificial reservoir usually raises the attractiveness of a region. Above all, it makes new forms of tourism possible – such as water tourism. In this paper, opportunities for the development of tourism in the vicinity of mountain reservoirs are presented. The issue is discussed on a selected example from Poland.
