Case study regarding local revenue collection rate in Romania between 2008-2013

Abstract:
This article is trying to present local revenues collection rate in Romania between 2008-2013. It is treating local revenues collection rate from Romania at national, regional, county and local level. The highest local revenues collection rate was 85, 38% in 2013 and the lowest collection rate was 80, 23% in 2009. The average of the collection rate in urban area was 81, 69% and 81, 68%. NV Region has the best collection rate and S Region the lowest. From all 3228 local authorities Mintiu Gherlii from Cluj county has the highest collection rate(114, 46%) and the lowest FruntiÅŸeni from Vaslui(41, 81%). We also pointed out the factors that are influencing the collection rate.
