Interference of Technology in the Fine Art Market

Abstract: Art and technology. Most of us when we are thinking of fine art we are thinking of the paintings and sculptures and we are less inclined to associate the art with technology. Yet, there are many developments in this area and technology intersects the fine art industry in different points and takes different shapes. The purpose of the paper is to identify where technology is interfering in the fine art industry.
