Los grandes temas del sistema físico-ambiental de Andalucía y sus implicaciones humanas

Abstract: RESUMEN Los grandes temas del sistema físico-ambiental de Andalucía que se estudian son: relieve, agua, suelo y biodiversidad. Respecto al relieve, se muestran sus grandes conjuntos y cómo en torno a ellos se articulan muchos aspectos físicos y humanos de la geografía andaluza. El agua es abordada en sus datos y geografía básicos pero viendo también su importante y grave problemática. El suelo, a su vez, es estudiado como recurso productivo pero también desde el punto de vista ambiental. Y, por último, se resalta el gran valor de la biodiversidad andaluza que constituye la base de nuestro patrimonio natural, uniendo a él también reflexiones sobre el patrimonio histórico-cultural andaluz. ABSTRACT The main themes of the Andalusian physical-environmental system that are studied are: relief, water, soil and biodiversity. As regards relief, we show its big units and how many physical and human aspects of Andalusian geography are articulated around them. We deal with water through its basic data and geography, but also taking into account its important and serious problems. As far as soil is concerned, it is studied as a productive source but also from the environmental point of view. Last but not least, we emphasize the big value of Andalusian biodiversity, which constitutes the basis of our natural heritage, together with reflections on the Andalusian historical and cultural heritage.
