La producción científica en las Universidades Andaluzas

Abstract: RESUMEN El análisis de la trayectoria y producción científica de los grupos de investigación en Andalucía es el objetivo de este estudio. Por este motivo, en primer lugar, se describe la trayectoria histórica, con los acontecimientos más destacados en la investigación andaluza desde la posguerra hasta el vigente Plan Andaluz de Investigación III (2000-2003); en segundo lugar, cuáles son los agentes investigadores en esta Comunidad Autónoma y sus funciones prioritarias; centrándose el análisis en la universidad como principal agente investigador, teniendo como objetivo estudiar el número de grupos de investigación por universidad y área de conocimiento, así como la correlación con su producción científica. Finalmente, el desglose de la actividad científica por indicadores de producción ofrece una imagen de cuáles son las actividades más destacadas (libros, capítulos de libros, etc.) de los grupos, en qué esfera se desarrollan (nacional/ internacional) y cuál es el promedio de publicaciones por profesor. ABSTRACT This research has as main target to analize the trajectory and the scientific production within the research groups in Andalusia. For this reason, firstly the historical trajectory is described with the most outstanding events happened in the andalusian research since postwar to our effective Third Andalusian Research Plan (2000-2003). Secondly, which are the research agents in this region and its high-priority functions, being centered the analysis in the university like main researcher agent, having like objective to study the number of groups of investigation by university and area of knowledge, as well as the correlation with its scientific production. Finally, the removal of the scientific activity by production indicators offers an image of which are the most outstanding activities (books, chapters books, etc) of each group, in what sphere is developed (national/international) and which is the average of publications by professor.
