Abstract:
The current study aims to examine the impact of mentoring functions (career, psychosocial & role modeling) on career success via mediating role of career resilience. For this purpose, data was collected from 325 staff working in Pakistani conventional and Islamic banks using a self-administrated questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using PLS-SEM techniques. The finding indicates there is direct relationship between career and psychosocial mentoring and career success. The finding also indicates that career resilience mediates the relationship between mentoring functions (career and role modeling) and career success. A theoretical & practical implication along with limitations & future recommendations for research also has been presented in this paper.
