Abstract: The study has examined the impact of water resources on agricultural productivity in Pakistan from 1975 to 2015. For examining the stationarity of variables, Augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) unit root test is used. Autoregressive Distributed Lag Approach (ARDL) is used for cointegration among the variables of the model. The estimated results of the study show that water resources have a positive and significant impact on agricultural productivity in Pakistan over the selected time period. The results of the study show that water resources are useful for agricultural productivity. On the basis of empirical results, this study proposes that water resources must be improved in the case of Pakistan, to enhance the agricultural productivity.
