Abstract:
In the paper we have estimated the total factor production (TFP) growth rates for Russian industrial firms for 1995–2004 years by using three different methodologies — non-parametric method, translog production function estimation and stochastic frontier analysis. Then by means of stochastic frontier analysis we decomposed the TFP growth rate into the technical progress and the inefficiency change components
