Abstract:
In this paper, the influence of the socio-economic development factors of the regions on retail is studied. The regions with considerable trade growth potential under current values of personal income are revealed using a fixed effects model. This potential can be realized through the expansion of global and federal retail chains into those regions,. The investment potential and the business risk dealing in a region are the main dominants of such expansion.
