Trend analysis of water use at the metallurgical enterprises of Sverdlovsk region

Abstract: It is described the results of an econometric study of the trends of water use in the metallurgical industry of the Sverdlovsk region in 2000–2009. It is shown the wasteful use of water resources is the priority of among the enterprises of the industry. Disclosed the role of the circulating water supply system as a determining factor is for the transition to the intensification and sustainability of water use.
