Abstract: This paper presents the results of modeling the migration processes of university graduates, with the influence of neighboring regions being taken into account. Significant factors of migration of graduates of Russian universities appear to be the higher incomes, GRP per capita and the unemployment rate in the destination region. Using tools of spatial econometrics it was proven that there is a positive spatial autocorrelation by the outflow and influx of graduates between neighboring regions.
