Digital Leadership, Enterprise Digital Transformation and Ambidextrous Innovation: The adjustment Benefit Based on Explicit and Tacit knowledge spillover

Abstract: As the digital revolution picks up pace, more and more companies are recognizing the growing significance of digital leadership in driving the dexterity of their innovative endeavors. Utilizing the A-share firm panel data spanning 2011 to 2023, this study constructs a mediating and moderating model, and uses fixed effect regression to systematically analyze the impact path of digital leadership on corporate ambidextrous innovation. The results show that: (1) Digital leadership significantly promotes exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation; (2) Digital shifts partially mediate how digital leadership affects balanced innovation strategies. Explicit knowledge flow can enhance employees' self-efficacy. Tacit knowledge flow stimulates employees ' exploratory spirit and creativity, making them more willing to participate in enterprise innovation. Compared with exploratory innovation, it has a stronger role in promoting exploitative innovation. Finally, three suggestions are put forward : Bolstering Digital Leadership Formation; Advancing Harmonized Growth of Digital Transformation & Ambidextrous Innovation; making full use of knowledge spillover effects.
