Abstract: The aim of this paper is to examine the market orientation of the foreign direst investment (FIDI) in the Greek manufacturing sectoral export and import flows. The basic hypothesis of the model is that the foreign subsidiary may continuously readjust and formulate its market orientation strategy on the basis of advantages and oppor-tunities appearing in the host and/or the export markets. The SUE econometric technique is used for the empirical verification of the model.
