Abstract:
This paper examines Keynes’ thoughts on the Treaty of Versailles as per The Economic Consequences of the Peace and The Revision of the Treaty. In these two works Keynes showed how the personalities and world views of the victorious allied leaders were decisive in defining the terms of the Treaty. A century later, while Keynes’ assessments of the economic consequences of the Treaty seem questionable, those of a moral nature have retained their validity. The Revision of the Treaty.
