Abstract: Workplace ethics supports corporate sustainable development within the goal of meeting the needs and aspirations of the organisational stakeholders. This paper examined the role of business ethics on organisational sustainability. It also sought to ascertain the effect of managing unethical behaviour on organisational performance, as well as assess the effect of social responsibility on organisational stakeholders. The study adopted the survey research design, and a target population of 100 academic and non academic staff of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka was purposively selected and sampled. Findings from the logistic regression revealed that business ethics, managing unethical practices and social responsibility positively affected organisational sustainability, performance and stakeholders respectively. Consequently, it was recommended that ethics and accountability be promoted through the enactment, improvement and effective enforcement of codes of ethics and regulations. In addition, organisational managers should maintain a balance that responds to the concerns of all stakeholders and the society in general..
