Abstract: This study assessed the determinants of homemakers' choice of household equipment for family utilization in Lagos state, Nigeria. Two research questions and two hypotheses guided the line of inquiry. Four hundred and eighty-two (482) female workers in Colleges of Education in Lagos state, Nigeria, formed the population for the study. A sample of two hundred and forty-one (241) respondents was drawn from the population using proportional sampling technique. Using a descriptive survey design, data was collected through an adapted questionnaire. Mean, standard deviation and Pearson Product-Moment Correlation co-efficient (PPMC) statistical techniques were used to report the research questions and test the null hypotheses at a 0.05 level of significance.
