Abstract:
The role of mass media in the 2015 general elections cannot be overemphasized. In analyzing the role the media played, the paper found out that there was a significant improvement in the role the media played in the 2015 general elections but recommends on how the media could have played the role even better for a more positive significant impact. The paper made a salient application of the agenda setting theory.
