Capital social y bienestar subjetivo. Un análisis para España considerando sus regiones

Abstract: Este trabajo analiza los factores determinantes de la felicidad en España prestando especial atención al «capital social», empleando los datos procedentes de la Encuesta Social Europea (ESS) correspondiente a la cuarta oleada (año 2008). El análisis se realiza a través de modelos de elección discreta, considerando las diferencias regionales. Además de los determinantes tradicionalmente empleados como edad, sexo, estado civil, estado de salud, niveles educativos, medidas sobre el nivel de ingresos, se realiza un análisis de componentes principales en el que se definen tres dimensiones del capital social: confianza, redes y normas sociales.
