Abstract:
The Sustainable Development Goals include three essential dimensions of sustainable development: economic, social, and environmental. These three dimensions of the SDGs are interconnected and essential for achieving sustainable development that addresses economic, social, and environmental challenges. These objectives intend to balance sustainable development's aspects. Sustainable economic growth can only happen if all three dimensions of the SDGs are attained. The study used the Panel ARDL PMG method to investigate the relationship between three SDGs dimensions and economic growth (GDPGRO) in SAARC countries from 2000 to 2020. The study found that economic sustainable development goals have positive relationship with economic growth (GDPGRO). On the other hand, there is negative relationship between environmental and social sustainable development goals with economic growth, the findings suggest that policies aimed at promoting sustainable development should take into account the specific context of each country and the interplay between different dimensions of SDGs with economic growth
