Abstract: The aim of this paper is to examine the nexus between exports and economic growth in Libya through time-series analysis. The study investigates how exports have led to the overall economic development in Libya, indicating a higher bias on export lead economic growth hypotheses. The paper is divided into four sections. The first section is an introduction of the paper, the second section presents identification of economic growth and trade indicators, the third section presents the empirical results of research objective, and the fourth section concludes the paper
