Abstract: This note deals with the efficacy of different public health policies sustained in BRICS nations on public health system of the corresponding economies. In this respect we have framed a comparative analysis among BRICS nations regarding their public health policies in their health care system. Overall, we have found that such policies have been helpful in uplifting the health standard in every nation to some extent but not up to the expectations as per as the health parameters of India and South Africa is concern. A lot remains to be done, discussed here, for which we feel the need of greater co operation among the BRICS countries.
