The evolution and development of entrepreneurship education in Nigeria were delved into. Entrepreneurship education was discussed in relevance to sustainable development. The interaction with some entrepreneurs in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo States revealed that small scale business entrepreneurs are encouraged by using computer-related machines for their business operation. However, the paper concluded that workforce preparation is being slowed down and that entrepreneurship education, as a functional training, can energise the youths for the changing globalisation features.
