Abstract: This research reviews the conditions of access to banking credit in Mexico in relation to banking system that has become foreign-owner. It is observed that far from facilitate such an access, the banking system in Mexico do not offer credit conditions to the productive system in terms of confidence and firmness even if the interest rates have reached the lowest levels since the crises of 1995.
